据报道，11月2号在位于Dundas Street East 和DVP的立交桥，有人坠桥而死。现在特别调查组（Special Investigation Unit, SIU) ，又称警方监察机构（police watchdog），正在调查死因。
多伦多警方昨天大约下午5点发推称接到报警，约下午6:20，警方称移动危机干预小组已到达现场与此人对话（At around 6:20 p.m., police said the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team was at the scene talking to the person.）。
晚9:52，特别调查组发推称此人已经死亡，特别调查组正在调查死因。（Later in the evening at around 9:52 p.m. the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) announced in a tweet that a man had died.）
特别调查组(SIU)涉及到警察和公众的死亡、严重伤害或者性侵害的指控时，会调用特别调查组。（The SIU is called in where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault involving police and members of the public.）
这里涉及到警察，所以另派特别调查组（SIU）调查。
